Dear Friends and Family

2006 zoomed by for the Hanson/Kleine clan, with milestones right and left.

Susan and Rich celebrated their 30th anniversary in February and made an unexpected move within their Park Slope neighborhood in April [see new address above].

Rich continues to launch ecommerce websites for Charming Interactive/ Charming Shoppes, Inc. He now travels regularly to Tucson, AZ on business. Rich still searches out new singer songwriters to hear at various clubs around the Big Apple. His adventures as webmaster for several singer fan sites, including one for jazz singer Madeleine Peyroux, continue.

Susan spent a great deal of 2006 on the road. Her new role as conference planner for ALHFAM [museum professional group] got her to Santa Fe, Baton Rouge and the Rochester NY area. She spent a week at the Pensacola Naval Air Station in Florida on a consulting project, took a couple of wedding planning trips to Richmond , went to Maine for a professional meeting in addition to a couple of road trips with her sister. After one more trip to Arizona for a friend’s wedding, Susan begins a major consulting project for Howell Living History Farm in New Jersey.

Andrea has a major new performance project, The Separation, which will premier in February at the Walker Art Center in Minneapolis. She is writer/ director and her boyfriend, Bobby Previte is composing and performing the music.

Hilary and Josh had an amazing 2006. They got engaged on the Island of Malta in March and tied the knot at the Byrd Theatre in Richmond in September. [wedding pictures]. In between, they became entrepreneurs, leaving more traditional jobs to work full time on their business Ravenchase Adventures. Their corporate events and treasure hunts, which spread from Malta to Honolulu, racked up the frequent flier miles.

Jared and Seema are leaving the student life behind. Seema received her PhD in Art History from NYU in January. She is now teaching there on an adjunct basis. Jared completed work on his Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine and Master of Acupuncture degrees at the University of Bridgeport in December. His next hurdles are the Board exams in February and establishing a practice. Jared turned 30 in September.

We wish you and yours all the very best for 2007.
